Customer Accounts Specialist
General Summary
Currently, we have a great opportunity available for a Customer Account Specialist to join our Customer Service team at our Cincinnati, OH headquarters. You will be responsible for providing professional and friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment and ensuring that customer orders are processed timely and accurately. This role will report to the Customer Service Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively within a highly matrixed, global environment
- Manage customer orders through the entire order cycle from order entry to shipment, including generating shipping packets, scheduling transportation and ship confirming of domestic and international orders
- Work collaboratively with Planning, Production and Shipping departments, including freight forwarders and customer brokers, to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of customer orders
- Work with Safety and Regulatory departments to ensure that all domestic and international shipments and associated documents are compliant with the relevant regulations for safety, transportation, customs and commerce
- As a customer advocate, manage communication with Sales and other departments to proactively respond to customer needs and maintain customer satisfaction
- Answer customer questions about our products, services and other business functions
- Proactively problem solve customer order issues, track and expedite orders, domestic and international

Education and Experience
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Two (2) or more years of customer service/inside sales or customer facing experience required
- Two (2) or more years' experience in international/domestic shipping and logistics - strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP systems, Oracle / JDE preferred
- SalesForce (SFDC) Experience preferred
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
